Memory you control
Saved context and communication preferences are opt-in, inspectable, editable, and removable.
Context that follows your choices. Credit that follows the work. Confidence that stays attached to an exact release.
The release
Astra 1.2 adds user-controlled continuity across eligible conversations while making every participating capability’s version, creator, and verification status visible. The controls live in the workflow, including temporary use, correction, deletion, expiry, rejection, and revocation.
Saved context and communication preferences are opt-in, inspectable, editable, and removable.
Start a session that is not saved to the workspace and cannot use or create cross-chat memory.
Agents, skills, and artifacts carry an exact version and visible creator attribution.
Global Admins can verify an exact release with a reason, and revoke that signal when it no longer applies.
Personal context
Use saved memory and Learn from chats are separate choices. People can inspect the resulting profile and memories, add or remove entries, reset learned presentation preferences, disable recall, or clear the retained state.
OWNER SCOPEDOnly eligible, privacy-screened context can support a later conversation.
Memory categories expire within documented 90-, 180-, or 365-day windows.
Inspect, remove, reset, disable, and clear controls remain available together.
A clean boundary
Temporary chat keeps the live exchange available for the current session while bypassing workspace conversation persistence, memory recall, new memory, and learned communication-profile updates.
The mode is visible before a message is sent.
Earlier messages remain available only to continue that open exchange.
The session does not contribute to saved history or cross-chat learning.
Versioned contributions
Agents and skills now expose semantic release versions and creator attribution. Artifacts retain their creator and exact snapshot version as they evolve. Amazon aliases open the contributor’s PhoneTool profile; team-owned work is credited to the WHS Suite Team.
A new version requires a new verification · reasons remain visible · revoked trust does not silently carry forward
Global Admin verification
Global Admins can verify, reject, or revoke an exact agent, skill, or owner-consented artifact snapshot with a required reason. Artifact review excludes the surrounding conversation. A verified badge indicates the recorded confidence for that release; it is not a safety certification, policy approval, or substitute for qualified review.
Governance in the runtime
Astra excludes sensitive, safety-critical, and authority-establishing material from personal memory. Retrieved context remains untrusted input, cannot override current instructions or governed sources, and cannot change factual substance, urgency, caveats, citations, policy, or safety guidance. Qualified people remain in control.
